Mr. A was indicted on charges of driving an unregistered motorcycle without a license plate on a road in Busanjin-gu, Busan at 4:08 p.m. on August 27 last year, and running for about 10 meters while hanging a 먹튀검증traffic police officer who was trying to crack down on the motorcycle.
Mr. A tried to run away by turning the steering wheel to the left as the police officer approached, fearing that the unregistered motorcycle would be discovered as not having mandatory insurance. When a traffic police officer blocked the motorcycle by holding onto the back of the motorcycle, he drove while clinging to the police officer, causing about two weeks of injuries.
He also hit a vehicle waiting at a signal during this process, causing property damage worth 1.3 million won.
Mr. A’s side said, “Failure to comply with a traffic police officer’s instructions is a minor crime, and not having a license plate on a motorcycle is also only subject to a fine,” adding, “The act of forcibly stopping Mr. A cannot be considered a legitimate performance of official duties, and the police officer He argued, “This injury is also capable of healing naturally, so it does not constitute an injury,” but the court did not accept this.
The court said, “The guilt is heavy considering the method of crime, the target of the crime, and the degree of damage. “The defendant was uncooperative with the investigation, failing to properly contact the investigative agency from the beginning of the case,” he said. “Even in court, he did not recognize the seriousness of the crime, including that the police officer’s work was not a legitimate performance of official duties, and there was no sign of serious remorse.” .
He added, “However, we consider the fact that the police officer’s injuries were not serious and the fact that 1.3 million won was deposited for the victim of the collision as favorable circumstances.”
