Recently, according to the British BBC , researchers at the Helmholtz Munich Institute in Germany have developed a solution that makes skin tissue, bones, nerves and organs transparent.
The solution removes moisture and fat from the body, making skin tissues, bones and nerves transparent.
Prior to the development of the solution, body tissues had to be sliced, stained, and observed under a microscope, but this development made the experiment process more convenient.
The researchers said they succeeded in observing early cancer at the cellular level, which cannot be seen with MRI .
Until now, this technology has been applied only to dead animal carcasses, but recently the research is expanding to understanding the microstructure of human organs and tissues.
The next goal of the research team is to ‘make the human body transparent’.
Researchers predict that if they can look into the brain of a living person, they will be able to diagnose brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
